Joseph Francis Lynch, age 82, of Hatboro, PA, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on July 18, 2024. Born on February 25, 1942, in the heart of Camden, NJ, he was the beloved son of the late Francis Joseph and Catharine Dorthea Lynch (nee Connor).
Throughout his illustrious career as a Prominent Lawyer, Joseph demonstrated unparalleled acumen and a profound sense of justice. His advocacy brought hope to the downtrodden and his legal prowess earned him respect among both colleagues and clients. With each case he handled, Joseph's passion for upholding the law shone brightly, becoming a beacon of righteousness in a world often fraught with injustices.
Education was a cornerstone of Joseph's life journey. A proud High school graduate from St. Joe's Prep, he further honed his knowledge by obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree from St. Joseph University, a Masters of Law from Rutgers Law School, and finally culminating in a Juris Doctor Degree from New York University. His academic achievements were a testament to his diligence and thirst for learning.
Beyond the courtroom, Joseph found solace in simple pleasures. An avid collector of trains, he could often be found immersed in the beauty of these mechanical marvels. His hobbies reflected a man who appreciated intricacies and details—a quality that undoubtedly spilled over into his professional endeavors.
Joseph is survived by his sister, Maureen Lester, his nephew, Thomas J. Lester, and his niece, Christine M. Lester.
A Graveside Service to commemorate the life of Joseph Francis Lynch will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, 1:00 PM at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 W. Cheltenham Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19150.
