Joseph P. Marchione, age 79, of Springfield, VA, formerly of West Chester, PA, passed away on April 20, 2018.
Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1938, he was the son of Gloria (nee D'Amore) and the late Joseph C. Marchione.
Joseph received 2 MS degrees, Teaching of Math and Statistics, at Villanova University.
He taught math at Delaware County Community College and Villanova University.
In his free time, Joseph contributed to math journals and other math publications and enjoyed ballroom dancing.
He was the beloved husband of Mariellen (Halberstadt) Marchione; loving father of Danielle Marchione (Scott Black) and Kara Marchione (Tyler Wilson); adoring grandfather of Leigh, Kyle, Colin, and Magdalena.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 9:30-11 AM Friday, April 27, 2018 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000 followed by his Funeral Mass 11:30 AM SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester, PA.
Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
