Joseph McCawley, Jr.

Joseph M. McCawley, Jr. ("Mic") age 64, of Malvern, PA passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on January 6, 2018.
"Mic" was a fun loving, goal-oriented, devoted, and loyal person who had a zest for life. He loved his wife and daughters. He enjoyed any place where he could share laughter with his daughters. He enjoyed any golf course in the top 500, Kelly's Bar near Villanova, and fine restaurants where he could enjoy a good steak. He enjoyed stories and telling stories, talking to real estate and architectural executives; he enjoyed his entire nuclear and extended family and celebrating any milestone with those he loved!!!
"Mic" also enjoyed listening to disco music, Fleetwood Mac, Van Morrison, Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, and Michael Bublé. His favorite song was "What A Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong.
Beloved husband of Kim M. Hayes McCawley for 36 years. Deeply devoted and cherished father of Sheila F. McCawley (Marty Breheny) and Tara L. Teberian (Vahan). Dedicated son of Dolores and Joseph M. McCawley, Sr. Treasured brother of Patricia Price (Edward), Lori McGraw (Robert) and Karen McCawley (Blake Doney). Dear nephew of Dorothy Beckle Guidone. Also survived by his nieces, nephews and cousins and their families.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 366 W. Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA and Friday, January 12, 2018 9:30 to 10:30 AM in St. Thomas of Villanova Church, on the Campus of Villanova University, 800 E. Lancaster Avenue, Villanova, PA followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Villa Maria Academy High School (www.vmahs.org), 370 Old Lincoln Highway, Malvern, PA 19355 or Villa Maria Academy Lower School (www.villamaria.org) 1140 King Road, Immaculata, PA 19345.
