Joseph Otruba, Jr.

Joseph P. Otruba, Jr., age 85, devoted husband and family man, passed away on December 23, 2016. Born in Milmont Park, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph P. and Anna Otruba (nee Dougherty).
Joseph was a 1949 graduate of St. James High School in Chester, PA. He was employed as a Tool & Die Estimator with The Budd Company in Philadelphia, PA.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Joan C. Otruba (nee Corrigan). He is survived by his loving children Joseph (Susan) Otruba, Denise (Albert) Ricci, Bruce (Carol) Otruba, Joan (the late Jack) Kanavy, Christine (David) Smith, Karen (Robert) Suplee, James (Linda) Otruba, Brian (Linda) Otruba, Maryann Otruba Wynn, and Kathleen Otruba. Also survived by his 27 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, his sister, Alice Benson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Tuesday, January 3, 2017 9:30-10:50 AM St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA and to his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joseph's memory to the Marple Ambulance Corps, 610 Parkway Drive, Suite A, Broomall, PA 19008 would be appreciated.
