Joseph A. Pasquini, 83, of Downingtown, PA and formerly of Northeast Philadelphia, passed away on July 16, 2013 at Neighborhood Hospice in West Chester, PA.
Born in South Philadelphia, PA in 1930, Joseph was the son of Emelia (LaMorgia) and Joseph Paquini, both deceased.
Joseph was a graduate of Ben Franklin High School in Philadelphia. He worked as a Union brick layer and building inspector and he laid out the template for the Philadelphia Spectrum and helped build the City Tavern Restaurant in Philadelphia.
He enjoyed model airplanes and was a member of the Valley Forge Signal Seekers RC Flying Club, where he headed up the instruction program.
Joseph was the beloved husband of Elmeria D. (Dompert) Pasquini; loving father of Christa P. Gebhard (Paul); loving grandfather of Laura and Leah Saltzman; and dear brother of Millie Ciferni Piotti, Phillip, Thomas and James Pasquini. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
