Joseph Pellegrino

Joseph Prisco "Zeak" Pellegrino, 83, of Downingtown, formerly of Glenolden, passed away on July 22, 2015.
He is predeceased by 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
Born in 1931 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Frank and Carmella (nee Auligino) Pellegrino.
Joseph served honorably in the US Army during the Korean War and worked as a paperhanger.
He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret M. (nee Ryan); the loving father of Joseph W. Pellegrino (Dorothy), Ronald S. Pellegrino (Bernadette), Regina Murray (Edward), Martin Pellegrino, Margaret Amalfitano (Mike), the late Robert F. Pellegrino, and the late Gregory E. Pellegrino; the dear brother of Mike Pellegrino, George Pellegrino (Rea), and Arthur Pellegrino (Jean); also survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 7:00-9:00 p.m., Sunday eve, July 26, 2015 and 8:15-9:15 a.m. Monday, July 27th at The Donohue Funeral Home, 43 W. Lancaster Ave, Downingtown, PA 610-269-3080, followed by his Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Church, 100 Fellowship Rd., Chester Springs, PA. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cem.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 399 Market Street, Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
