Joseph T. Quay III of Benton, Pa. died on Saturday June 13, 2015 at his home. He was 51.
Joe was born on July 10, 1963 in Phoenixville Pa. A lifetime resident of Chester and Lancaster counties, Joe spent his last days in Benton with his beloved daughter Jennifer Seltzer, her husband Tom, and grand-daughters Calley Jo and Emma.
A searching soul, Joe found his greatest joys "on the water" and in music. Making friends wherever he went, he will be greatly missed by many.
Son of the late Joseph T. Quay Jr and Shirley A. Quay (nee Mellott), Joe was his father's pride and his mother's dream. Joe is survived by sisters Tammy A. Kline of Columbia, Sherry S. Pedersen of Wake Forest, NC, and brother Matthew W. Quay formerly of Exton.
A memorial service presided over by The Donohue Funeral Home, 43 W Lancaster Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335, (610)269-3080, on June 19, 2015, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am, followed by the service at 11:00 am. Friends and family are invited for a meal and time of sharing and remembrance afterward with details to be announced.
