Joseph "Eight Ball" Salerno, age 58, of Broomall, PA, passed away surrounded by his loving family on March 11, 2019.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late John and Marie (nee Franchetti) Salerno.
Joseph was employed with Villanova University as an HVAC Specialist for over 30 years.
He enjoyed working on his '67 yellow Ford Mustang, loved shooting pool and competed in a Tournament in Vegas.
He cherished the times he and his twin brother, John, had fishing on John's boat.
Joseph owned a home in Ocean City, NJ where he and his wife, Betty Ann, delighted in riding their bicycles around town.
Joseph also enjoyed food and good wine, had a passion for life, always maintained a positive attitude, was a kind, generous, and knowledgeable person, who would help anyone.
He had wonderful friends and family.
Joseph was the beloved husband of Elizabeth A. "Betty Ann" (nee Raiburn) Salerno.
He is also survived by his twin brother, John Salerno, his sisters, Fran Drake (Bill), Stephanie "Stevie" Vona (Roger) and Carol Gambino (Sonny); and many nieces and nephews.
