Joseph D. Steinhauser

Joseph D. Steinhauser, age 83, of Media, PA, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2023. 

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Otto and Anna B. (née Shainline) Steinhauser.

Joseph served his country honorably in the U.S. Army.  He was a member of the American Legion Post 667 and the Marple/Newtown Amateur Radio Club, as well as the Men of Malvern Retreat.

Joseph was the loving father of Jennifer E. Hood; the devoted grandfather of Sean Hood and Matthew Hood, the dear uncle of Michael McCann and Ann Blithe.  He was predeceased by his sister, Nancy McCann.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing, Friday, March 17, 2023, 9:30 to 10:25 AM at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA  19073, followed by his Funeral Mass, 10:30 AM.  Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
