Joseph Gerard Terry

Joseph G. Terry, 68, of Newtown Square, PA, passed away on October 4, 2024, after a courageous battle with a prolonged illness. He was the beloved son of the late Joseph F. and Gloria (née Nicosia) Terry.

Joe is survived by his devoted wife, Dr. Katherine Canakis-Terry; his son, Joseph Christopher Terry (Katherine); his daughter, Alyssa Marie Terry; and his cherished grandson, Joseph James Terry.

A dedicated husband, father, and grandfather, Joe took over the family business and enjoyed a distinguished career spanning over 50 years in the insurance industry. His unwavering commitment to excellence built a legacy of integrity and professionalism that set a standard for all.

Recently retired, Joe found joy in fishing, attending sporting events, and cooking. He cherished time spent at the beach and, above all, with his family. His kindness, generosity, and infectious sense of humor touched the lives of everyone who knew him. Joe will be remembered as a man of deep integrity and warmth, and he will be profoundly missed by all who loved him.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the Visitation from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 19, 2024, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 PM at the Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382.
