Joseph Tinari

Joseph C. Tinari, age 89, of Havertown, PA, passed away peacefully as he slept in his home on April 22, 2021.

Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1932, Joseph was the son of the late Aquilino and Lucy (nee Mamone) Tinari. He graduated from St. Thomas More High School. Joseph served honorably in the US Army during the Korean War. He worked as a Project Manager at Ayden Vector Company. In his free time, Joseph enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, boating, and working with his hands. He loved to spend time at his beach house on Mystic Island, NJ.

Joseph was the beloved husband of the late Anna A. “Ann” (nee Tamburini) Tinari; loving father of JoAnn Malandrucco, Joseph Tinari, Jr. (Kathy Piperno), Janice Tinari (James Garcia), Janine Holmes, and Jeffrey Tinari (Rossana); caring grandfather of  Joseph (Kristin), Joan (Mike), Jennifer, Jeffrey (Brandi), Jason (Chelsea), Jonathan (Lisa), Joshua, Joanna (Andrew), Alexander (“AJ”), Christopher, Jessica, Allison, Casey, Steven, Trevor, Tiana, Marina, Gunnar, and the late Esperanza and great-grandfather of Taylor, Isabella, Shelby, Sloane, Chester, Jackson, Myles, Rose, Violet, Renee, Arthur, Danté, Giavanna, and Roman; predeceased by his siblings, Nicholas Tinari and Josephine Maggitti.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 9:30-10:30 AM Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Annunciation BVM Church, 401 Brookline Blvd., Havertown, PA and to his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Coatesville VA Medical Center, 1400 Blackhorse Hill Rd., Coatesville, PA 19320, would be appreciated.
