JOSEPHINE VALENZA (nee Cugino), 99 years of age, of Bala Cynwyd, PA and Haddonfield, NJ, passed away peacefully surrouned by her family in her home on Fri. May 9, 2014. Josie was pre­ deceased by her beloved husband Mariano M. Valenza and her granddaughter Joan Canuso Fischer (Michael). Loving mother of Mary Ann Campanale (Francis J.) and Joan Canuso (John B.). Devoted grandmother of Mary Helen Ranieri (Pietro), John B. Canuso Jr. (Celeste), Tracy Nugent (William), Michael V. Canuso (Debbie), Sherry DiMedio (Kevin), Gina Canuso (Carl Eppolito), Joseph F. Campanale (Danica), Rosemary Becker (Michael), Michael V. Campanale (Greta) and her 32 great grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Rose Serra; many nieces and nephews. Josie was an integral part of the every day lives of her children and grandchildren. She will be missed every day and be remembered always.
