Joseph "Joe" Sullivan

Joseph “Joe” F. “Sully” Sullivan, age 57, of Broomall, PA, passed away on July 22, 2021. Born in Wynnewood, PA he was the son of the late John A. and Anne M. Sullivan (nee Schweitzer).

Sully worked as a Park Maintainer 1 in the Lower Merion Township. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, golfing, music, and was a dog lover. Sully was a member of the Main Line Italian American Club “The Little Club” in Ardmore, PA.

Joe was the loving husband of Maria Carmela Sullivan (nee Gonzaga); beloved brother of John Sullivan (Jennie), Mary C. Kelly (Michael), Barbara Carroll (John), Shelley Sullivan, and the late Loretta Smith. Sully is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation, Friday July 30, 2021, 5:00-7:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, and Saturday, July 31, 2021, 10:00-11:00 AM at Annunciation BVM Parish, 401 Brookline Blvd, Havertown, PA 19083, followed by his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Providence Animal Shelter, 555 Sandy Bank Rd., Media, PA 19063, https://providenceac.org/, would be appreciated.
