Joyce Ann Bolig (née Wise)

Joyce Ann Bolig (née Wise), 93, of Little River, SC, passed away on March 12, 2022.

Born in Milton, PA 1928, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Rachel (née Kaer) Wise. She was also predeceased by her grandparents, Sarah Abbie & Thomas H. Kear of Danville, PA and Anna J. & Irvin H. Wise of Milton, PA.

Joyce was a 1946 graduate of Milton High School and a 1949 graduate of Garfield Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, Washington, DC.

Following Nursing school, Joyce worked Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA and at

Sunbury Memorial Hospital in Sunbury, PA. In 1952, she got married and moved to Philadelphia, PA, where she worked at Philadelphia General Hospital.

Joyce was also member of the Little River Memorial Methodist Church, Lionville Community Methodist Church and was a member of the Red Hat Society in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Joyce was the beloved wife of the late J. William Bolig; loving sister of Janet Rae Senkarik (John William).
