Joyce Lois Shaika

Joyce Lois Shaika, 94, of Secane, PA passed away on September 5, 2023. She was predeceased by Michael J. Shaika, her beloved husband of 49 years, her parents John C. & Esther (nee Erdman) Fetter and her granddaughter Jennifer.

Joyce loved her home in Bear Creek Lake, Jim Thorpe, PA. She enjoyed reading, gardening and Board games with her family, nature watching and walking down the lane to the property’s lakefront. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Joyce is survived by her children Stephen, Jeffrey and his wife Sandy (nee Heffelfinger), Jill Anne and Susan.

Her grandchildren: Stephen Elias, Jacob, Luke, Grant, Mindy, Jaclyn, Paige and Justin. Great-grandchildren Allysa, Alexis and Bailey.

She is also survived by her only sibling Sharon Fetter Sudhop.

Services and interment are private at the request of the family.
