Joyce M. Walsh

Saying bye is so hard but it’s not always final.

Our mom, our strength and our guardian, Joyce Marie (nee Curtin) Walsh, sadly passed away on May 3, 2024.  Joyce recently celebrated her 90th birthday surrounded by three generations of her family that loved her dearly.  She was the beloved daughter to the late Henry and Grace (nee O’Neil) Curtin.

She is survived by her children Don, Mike (Kathy), Patty (Scott) and Rich (Christine) along with eight grandchildren Michael, Kelly, Kirsten, Kara, Kayla, Rich, Shannon and Joseph plus her five precious great-grandchildren, Lincoln, Wyatt, Hudson, Lennon and Jaxon. She was predeceased by her loving husband Donald P. Walsh.

Joyce was active, strong, and well-loved by many great friends.  She enjoyed making dinner arrangements at the Springton Lake Community and was an active participant on various committees there. She loved her morning workout classes and spending time with her dear friends at Springton Lake Village.   

Mom lived independently, but cherished her time going out to dinner with family and friends.  She was very organized and loved making plans for her next social event.

Mom is on her way to re-join our dad up in heaven. Say hi to Dad! We miss you both dearly. You will be forever in our hearts!!

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation Friday May 10, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM followed by her funeral mass at 10:30 AM at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA.
