Juanita Davis

Juanita F. Davis, age 82, of Folsom, Pennsylvania, passed away on June 1, 2020.

Predeceased in death by her husband, Lawrence Davis; children, Jo-Zetta Shawl and Garfield Fitzgerald;  parents, Sylvia Cox and Wilburn Wimbish Sr.; and brothers, James and Winfred (Doug) Wimbish.

Juanita is survived by her grandsons, Dan and Alex Fitzgerald and Nick Shawl; son-in-law, Timothy Shawl; step-son, Warren Davis; siblings, George, Wilburn Jr., Clarence, and Earl Wimbish, Ruth Spellman, and Sally W. Wilson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws of the Wimbish family.

Serving as a nurse for Taylor Hospital, Fair Acres Geriatric Center, and Haverford State Hospital, Juanita continued to help others throughout her life with multiple private agencies, and as a domiciliary care provider.

She will be sorely missed by all that knew and loved her, including the friends and colleagues that she worked with and cared for throughout her many years in the nursing industry.

Because of her tireless efforts and astounding compassion for her family, friends, and patients alike, Juanita’s love and blessed memory will remain with us forever.

Services and interment are private for family.
