Judith Ann Gibbons, age 74, of Lansdowne, PA, passed away on October 22, 2018.
Born in Darby, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles T. and Rita M. Gibbons (nee Culbertson).
Judith was a graduate of West Catholic Girls High School.
She received her Master's Degree from St. Joseph University.
She had been employed as a Registered Nurse at St. Agnes Hospital, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and Mercy-Fitzgerald Hospital.
Judith loved to spend time in Cape May, New Jersey, as well as crocheting, reading and was an avid crafter.
She was always available to assist anyone in need.
She volunteered and was active in her church community.
Judith brought joy to everyone who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Judith was predeceased by her sister, Mary Regina Sweeney.
She is survived by her sons, David Sliwka (Denise) and Kenneth Sliwka (Susan), and her grandsons Matthew and Charles.
She is also survived by her brothers Charles T., William, James, Francis, and John Gibbons, her sisters Ann Healis, Therese Cassidy, Kathleen Hagan and her numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral will be private.
A celebration of Judy's life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Judith's memory to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), 34th and Civic Center Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19104 would be appreciated.
