Judith "Tutu" Ward

Judith “Tutu” Emily Ward (nee Allendorf), age 87, of Cheltenham, PA passed away on Friday August 18, 2023. Born on September 29, 1935 in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late Harry and Emily Allendorf (Reed). 

Judy was the beloved wife of Don L. Ward and is survived by her adoring children Mike Ward (Lisa), LuAnn Crescenzo and Chris Ward (Jenn); her grandchildren Chris, Jessica, Bryan, Brittany, Jayme, Jonathan, Matt, Nolan, Aubrey and Kinsley; and her 6 great grandchildren. Judith is predeceased by her son Mitch Ward (Helen) and her grandchild Kate Crescenzo. 

Judy and Don raised their family in Cheltenham, Pennsylvania where she pursued a career as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for 43 years. After raising their family Judy and Don continued the next 25 years of their life together living on the bay in Sea Isle City, New Jersey. Recently, Judy and Don moved to Downingtown, PA to live with their son Chris and his family.   Judy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling and especially loved going on cruises. She was always reading as well as an active member of the Messiah Lutheran Church in Cape May County, New Jersey. 

Family and friends of Judy are invited to gather and pay their respects at a celebration of life that will be held on Saturday August, 26th any time after 1pm at the home of Chris and Jenn Ward (8 Lafayette Circle, Downingtown).
