Julia Kane

Julia Theresa Kane (née Noonan), 96, of Newtown Square, PA and formerly of Tamaqua, PA passed away on December 29, 2019.

Born in Altoona, PA in 1923, Julia was the daughter of the late James P. and Julia (née Kenney) Noonan.

She worked as a Teacher’s Aide for the Carbon County Intermediate Unit.

Julia was the beloved wife of the late Frank Philip Kane; loving mother of Joanne Castagnera (James), Julie Herschman (James), Frank Kane (Donna), Helene Zubey and the late James William Kane; devoted grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; dear sister of Helen Pavlik (the late Robert) and the late James Noonan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services and interment were held privately by her family.
