Julia M. Sargent , age 89, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on October 31, 2014 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Philadelphia, Julia was the daughter of the late Emil and Gilda (nee Vitulli) Ciancaglini. She was an original member of St. Bernadette Church in Drexel Hill and was a longtime employee of the Upper Darby School District, retiring in 1981. Julia liked to garden, paint and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Julia was the beloved wife of the late C. David Sargent. She was the loving mother of Judy Streeper (Blaine), David Sargent (Deborah), Donald Sargent (Peggy) and Raymond Sargent. Julia is also survived by her 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister Edith White.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Wednesday 9:30-10:20 AM at the Church of St. Bernadette, 1035 Turner Ave, Drexel Hill, PA., followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to The Alzheimer's Disease Association, 399 Market Street, Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106 would be appreciated.
