Julie A. "Jules" Keeley

Julie A. "Jules" Keeley (nee Weldon), age 79, of West Chester, PA, passed away on October 1, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Cleveland, OH in 1944, she was the daughter of the late Walter J. and Katherine (nee Mattingly) Weldon. Julie volunteered her time and was past president of a Paoli Hospital Auxiliary branch. She was an avid Bridge player and was awarded Masterpoints. A talented golfer, Julie and her daughter competed and won several mother-daughter tournaments. She never missed an episode of Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. Julie loved to travel and has visited over 30+ countries. She enjoyed watching college basketball and supporting Villanova. 

Julie was the beloved wife of John P. "Jack" Keeley, Jr., with whom she shared 56 years of marriage; loving mother of Stephanie Ann Kenney (J. Gerard), Todd Keeley, and Scott Keeley; caring grandmother of Erin Kenney, Annie Kenney, and Austin Kenney; dear sister of Jeanne Lantzy (the late Richard "Dick"), William Weldon (Judy), Walter "Skippy" Weldon (Melissa), Mary Minnillo (the late Emiddio), and Thomas Weldon; predeceased by her siblings Kenny Weldon, Johnny Weldon, and Carol Root; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 4:00-6:00 PM Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000, followed by her Funeral Service at 6:00 PM. Interment private. All are invited to Sullivan House at Hershey's Mill, 35 Hersheys Drive, West Chester, PA 19380, after the ceremony for lite fare and beverages.
