June Costello

June E. (nee Thomas) Costello, age 89, of Broomall, PA, passed away on November 6, 2019 with her family by her side.

Born in Bryn Mawr, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Estelle (nee Bitterlich) Thomas.

June had a passion for her community, especially seniors rights and organizations. She loved crafting using her artistic abilities. June enjoyed playing and watching women's basketball most of her life. Her family and friends brought her the most joy. She will be deeply missed by all.

June was the beloved wife of the late Martin P. Costello; loving mother of Alan Costello (Katharine), Dianne L. Blickle (William), and Laura C. Sabasino (Gregory); adoring grandmother of Bridget, Megan, Carl, Shawn, Brandon, and Devon; dear sister of Estelle (Sweetie) Schneider, Kenny Thomas, the late Lowell Thomas, and the late Jeanie Thomas.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 9:30-10:20 AM Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, followed by her Funeral Mass 10:30 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103, would be appreciated.
