Karen Marie Hofmann

Karen Marie Hofmann (nee Driscoll), age 68, of Havertown, PA, passed away on July 31, 2024. Born in Darby, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy Driscoll (nee Hart).

Karen raised her 3 beautiful daughters in Havertown. She had a long and successful career working for Delaware County where she assisted countless people in finding employment.

Karen was fortunate to have lifelong friends that she enjoyed cruises with and monthly dinners. But there was nothing more important to her than spending time with her kids and grandchildren, and you could often find her on the sidelines at one of her grandchildren’s sporting events. She lived her life to the fullest, traveling the world with friends and her late mother Dot. 

Karen was the beloved wife of the late Raymond Hofmann; loving mother of Jennifer Ward (Jim), April Giordano (Mick), and Michelle Ciabattoni (Steve); adoring grandmother of Drew, Meghan, and Connor Ward, Rayna and Adalina Giordano, Stephen and Caitlyn Ciabattoni, and Gavin Porter; caring sister of Robert and William Driscoll. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings John Driscoll and Patricia Fox.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 6:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, August 7th at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082 and 9:30-10:30 AM on Thursday, August 8th at Annunciation BVM Church, 401 Brookline Blvd., Havertown, PA 19083, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA.
