Karen E. Rullo (née Crowley), 45, of West Chester, PA formerly of Glastonbury, CT, passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by her family, on October 11, 2021.
Born in Hartford, CT in 1975, she was the beloved daughter of Armida P. (née Severino) and the late Kevin P. Crowley.
Karen earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware and worked as a Sales Analyst for Ellucian for 24 years. She taught CCD for many years at St. Maximilian Kolbe in West Chester.
She was dedicated wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt, who loved her family above everything else. Karen had the biggest heart, a bubbly, positive personality and never failed to make time for her family and friends, especially her University of Delaware “girls”. Karen enjoyed traveling and seeing the world.
With her unforgettable smile always on her face and a bounce in her step, Karen balanced all of life’s responsibilities with happiness. Her unique inability to fully close a door, drawer or cabinet was especially endearing to her loved ones.
She was the beloved wife, for 20 years, of Robert D. Rullo; loving mother of Olivia and Thomas; dear granddaughter of Pauline Severino; sister of Michael Crowley (Kimberly); daughter-in-law of Robert J. and Kathleen S. Rullo; sister-in-law of Daniel J. Rullo (Stephanie); loving aunt of Ryan, Sienna, Beau and Maddie; also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 4:00-7:00 PM Sunday, October 17, 2021 and 8:45-10:20 AM Monday, October 18th at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA, 610-431-9000 followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe, 15 E.
