Karl Gustav Vogelsberg, Jr.

Karl Gustav Vogelsberg, Jr., passed away peacefully on August 20, 2022.

Karl, 83, was born in Newark, NJ, and was a graduate of Newark Academy and the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School. He worked for the United States Rubber Company, UniRoyal, B.F. Goodrich Corporation and Michelin. Karl was also a member in the United States Air Force Reserves. He was elected and served as Treasurer for Springton Lake Retirement Community for the last five years. In retirement, his greatest pleasure was spending time with his family, playing bridge, teaching the grandkids to drive, coaching them how to invest their money, and sharing his love of dogs and woodworking. 

Karl was the beloved husband of Geraldine; loving father of his two daughters Yvonne Calo, wife of Rocco Calo, and Dr. Vanessa Ragaglia; dear grandfather of Courtney Calo, Christopher Calo and his wife Kathy Calo, Nicholas Ragaglia, Sydney Ragaglia and Andrew Ragaglia, along with their father Joseph Ragaglia. Karl is also survived by his sister, Joan Ann Vogelsberg.

Services will be private.
