Katherine E. Hooper (nee Riffert), 96, of Aldan, PA passed away on April 19, 2017. Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1921, she was the daughter of the late Charles J. and Susan Riffert (nee Elfrey), She was a longtime member of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church. Katherine was the beloved wife of the late Richard C. Hooper; loving mother of Susan Lee (Christopher) and Nancy Hooper; devoted grandmother of Amanda Lee and Caron Lee; adoring great-grandmother of Sophie DiMarco; dear aunt of Robert Riffert. Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 9:30-10:30 AM Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 2545 Franklin Avenue, Secane, PA 19018 followed by her Funeral Service at 10:30 AM. Interment Mount Peace Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Spirit Lutheran Church at the address listed above or to Vitas Hospice, 1500 Lansdowne Avenue, 4th Floor, Medical Science Building, Darby, PA 19023.
