Katheryn M. Brown, of Coatesville, passed away on January 11, 2017.
Born in Media, PA in 1986, she was the beloved daughter of Eileen M. (nee Glatfelter) and the late Frederick W. Brown, Jr.
Katie was the loving mother of Lilian Keidaisch and the dear sister of Eric M. Brown (Amanda), Stephen J. Brown, and Matthew E. Brown (Cynthia).
Katie graduated from Bishop Shanahan High School in 2004 and Villanova University in 2008. She enjoyed professional success through her employment at Vanguard over the last five years, which had recently culminated with promotion to a supervisory position in its Participant Services Department. She expressed pride in the team of crew members she led. At the time of her passing, Katie was actively pursuing a Masters of Business Administration Degree - Concentration in Leadership Studies - from Rosemont College School of Graduate Studies.
Katie was devoted to her family, focusing her time on numerous mother-daughter activities. She served as Treasurer to the Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania Troop 42082 and attended numerous girl scout functions. Katie will be missed more than words can express.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 6:00-9:00 PM Monday, January 16, 2017 and 9:00-10: AM Tuesday at The Donohue Funeral Home, 43 W. Lancaster Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335, 610-269-3080 followed by her Funeral Mass 10:30 AM at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 80 S. 17th Ave, Coatesville, PA 19320. Interment Birmingham Lafayette Cemetery.
