Kathleen M. Dabagian (nee McGovern), 76, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on January 25, 2018.
Born in Bryn Mawr, PA, she is the daughter of the late Alexander and Marie (nee Hansell) McGovern.
Kathy is the beloved wife of the late John J. Dabagian; loving mother of Gregory Dabagian (Nancy), Neil Dabagian (Janet), Ellen O'Connell (Tim), and Martha Driscoll (Brendan), and dear sister of the late Alexander McGovern, Jr. She is also survived by her grandchildren, John, Caitlyn, Lauren, Colin, Brendan, Liam, Devin, Daniel, and Molly Kathleen.
Kathy's joy for life was infectious! She worked as a Librarian and an Instructional Assistant at Welsh Valley Middle and Penn Valley Elementary Schools. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and volunteered at the St. Raphaela Center, Haverford, PA. Her passion was playing piano and enjoying live music. She delighted in riding her bike, reading, and spending time with family in Ocean City, New Jersey.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Sunday, January 28, 2018 4:00-6:00 PM and Monday, January 29, 2018 8:00-8:45 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to her Funeral Mass 9:30 AM at the St. Raphaela Center, 616 Coopertown Road, Haverford, PA. Interment at St. Denis Cemetery, Havertown, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Laurence School, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082 would be appreciated.
