Kathleen A. Loisch (nee Cassidy), age 92, of Berwyn, PA, passed away on April 28, 2017.
Born in Perry County, IN in 1925, Kathleen was the daughter of the late Nicholas Andrew and Mamie F. Cassidy (nee Foster).
Kathleen grew up on a farm in Marion, Indiana with her four siblings. She moved to Philadelphia in her 20's and was employed as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone before she married her husband, Bill, in 1956 and started their family.
Kathleen was the devoted and loving wife of the late William J. Loisch; loving mother to Patricia Bucher (Dr. James) and Laura McQuaig (Glenn); adoring and proud grandmother of Brian, Bernadette, Nicholas, Christopher, Adam, Kevin and John; dear sister of Nadine Knaus, Anna Lee Ellis, the late Nicholas Cassidy and the late Lorraine Rumple.
Over the years, the family lived in Warminster, PA, Pittsburgh, PA and Cumberland, RI before moving to Berwyn in 1978. She was a parishioner of St. Isaac Jogues Church.
She loved celebrating holidays and going to the shore with her family. She was a member of the Great Valley Women's Club for over thirty years and enjoyed playing bridge, doing needlework, working her morning crossword puzzles and watching her beloved Phillies and Flyers.
She was a very loving, sweet and sensitive person who did her best to make others happy.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Monday, May 15, 2017 9:30-10:20 AM in the Sacred Heart Chapel of Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 35 Old Eagle School Road, Strafford, PA and to her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment Our Lady of the Assumption Cemetery.
