Kathleen W. Morgan, 79, of Downingtown, PA passed away at home on September 24, 2014.
Born in Brooklyn, NY in 1934, she was the daughter of the late John and Marie (Shanahan) Wise.

Kathleen graduated from the University College of Dublin Ireland with a bachelor's degree in English and Spanish and later got her master's degree and teaching certificate from West Chester University.

A lifelong traveler, she enjoyed practicing her second language skills in Europe and Latin America. In the last few years she spent time visiting her son's family in St. Croix, USVI.
When she wasn't traveling, she was busy identifying seasonal plants and birds on the local Chester County trails or reading the newspaper with her faithful grand dog Mookie at her side.
She was predeceased by her husband John J. Morgan, Limerick, Ireland.
Kathleen was the loving mother of Michael J. (Emma) of Christiansted, St. Croix, USVI and Nora A. Morgan of West Chester, PA; loving grandmother of Colum Morgan; dear sister of Mary Scully, Noel Fair and Virginia Woodard.
Services and interment will be private by family at a later date.
