Kathleen Mullin

Mullin, Kathleen R. (nee St. Leger) 93 yrs of age, of Springfield, PA, passed away on September 20, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Leo A. Mullin, Jr. Loving Mother of Charles “Bud” (Judy), Michael (Sheila), Kathleen Hass (Ed), Patricia Rafferty (Frank), Mary Ann “Mimi” Macri (Mike), Thomas (Lisa), Theresa Price (Carla), Sean & Robert (Karen). Also survived by her 14 Grandchildren and 9 Great- Grandchildren. Predeceased by her siblings Mary Maloy, John, Michael, Joseph & Theresa St. Leger, as well as her grandson Matthew Mullin.

Kathleen was born and raised in South West Philadelphia, a member of Good Shepherd Parish for over 50 years and later at St Francis of Assisi Parish for over 30 years. She is a graduate of West Philadelphia Catholic High School for Girls. She was a loving mother to her NINE children. Kathleen enjoyed watching BIG 5 basketball, the Phillies and the Eagles. She loved to visit the Casinos for the one-armed bandits. She was proud of her Irish Heritage having traveled to Ireland in her later years to meet her relatives, one of the special times in her life.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Friday eve 6-9 pm at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Sq. Pa 610-353-6300 and Saturday 9:30-10:45 am St. Francis of Assisi Church, 136 Saxer Ave. Springfield, PA, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11AM. Int. SS. Peter & Paul Cem. Springfield, PA.
