Kathleen Patricia Tomosky, age 80, of the Manayunk section of Philadelphia, passed away on June 21, 2019.
Kathleen was a graduate of West Catholic Girls High School in Philadelphia.
She was a former resident of West Philadelphia and a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of the Angels Parish.
Kathy had a passion for enjoying life in the moment with her family from her own children,
down to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as a slew of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
She loved to take her grandkids camping in the Dutchmen, which has become a family tradition now for over 25 years.
She enjoyed cooking big Christmas Eve dinners and having all her grandkids run around the house.
However, her signature dish was spaghetti and crabs.
In her free time, she would frequent Atlantic City with her daughters.
Even her age could not stop her from getting out and about to shop, attend family gatherings, or just visit family members home; costing her family a fortune when Uber came about!
She was committed to her family and even her community, serving as President of the Manayunk Neighborhood Council and taking in many neighborhood kids as her own.
Her heart and home were always open; something that will always be appreciated and never forgotten.
Kathy had a special way of keeping her family together and making us all laugh.
Her stories and traditions are held dear to everyone's hearts and will be upheld for many years to come.
Kathleen was predeceased by her husband, James Raymond Tomosky, Sr. and her companion, Anthony Forcillo.
She is survived by her loving children Karen Tomosky, James Tomosky (Anne Marie), Diana Tomosky, Lynne Tomosky and Patrick Tomosky.
Also survived by her grandchildren Eric, Marc, Tara, Ryan, Jaime, Jonelle, Amber, James, Annemarie, Karianne, Nicole, Lauren, Nicholas, Chloe, Patrick, Julia and Luke and her great-grandchildren Lilly, Erik, Caycee, Cole, Anaila, Ellianna, Anina, Jacqueline, Ava, Charlize, Johnny, Jonelle, Benjamin and Evelyn Rose.
