Kathryn Henn

Kathryn “Kitty” M. Henn (nee Gallagher), age 95, of Wayne, PA, formerly of Paoli and Overbrook, PA, peacefully passed away on September 26, 2019.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the first daughter of the late Patrick J. and Kathryn (nee Kennedy) Gallagher.  After graduating West Catholic High School for girls in 1941, she worked for the Home Insurance Company as a secretary, where she met her future husband, Leonard J. Henn.

Kitty was the loving mother of Robert L. Henn (Maryann), Patricia A. Dougherty (Edmond), and Terri M. Bassitt (Jeff).  Grandmother of E.J. Dougherty (Pam), Michael Henn (Kyra), Patsy Stumpf (Rick), Kirsten Schreiber (Jamie) and great grandmother to Liam, Colin, Grace, Connor, Leah, Alexandra, Derek, Kalista, Maksim, Christian and Daniel; aunt to many nieces and nephews.  Kitty is survived by her sibling Francis J. Gallagher and is predeceased by her brother Joseph P. Gallagher and sister Mary T.  Shehan.

Relatives and friend are invited to her Visitation 9:00-9:50 AM Saturday, October 5, 2019 at St. Norbert Catholic Church, 50 Leopard Road, Paoli, PA 19301, followed by her Funeral Mass 10:00 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
