Kathryn McLaughlin

Kathryn E. “Kass” McLaughlin (nee Devlin), age 80, of Springfield, PA, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2020, with her family by her side.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (nee O’Brien) Devlin.

Kass was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan.  She especially enjoyed her trips to Walt Disney World and seeing the Magic Castle.  Kass was devoted to her family and treasured time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Kass was the beloved wife of the late John F. McLaughlin, Sr.; the loving mother of Kathryn Potts (James), Patricia Karalis (Jerry), Donna Grassi (Steven) and John F. McLaughlin, Jr. (Tiffani); the cherished grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother of 2.  Kass is survived by her sister, Margaret McDermott and brother, John Devlin and is predeceased by her siblings, Mary Sheeler, Dorothy McDermott, Joseph Devlin and Eleanor Dougherty.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing, Tuesday evening, January 21, 2020, 6:30 – 8:30 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA  19073, 610-353-6300, and on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 136 Saxer Avenue, Springfield, PA  19064, 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM.  Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
