Kenneth Rowland Godschall, Jr., 73, of Downingtown, PA passed away on November 26, 2017.
Born in Bryn Mawr, PA in 1944, he was the son of the late Kenneth R., Sr. and Marion (nee Bond) Godschall. Ken was a graduate of South Horace Scott Senior High School and worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Synthes in West Chester.
Ken was the beloved husband of Karen E. (nee Krug) Martel; loving father of E. Parke Walton, Jr, Paul W. Walton, Shauna Martel, Kayla Martel, and the late Debbie Lynn Martel; also survived by his brother and sister, Thomas and Carol.
Ken enjoyed camping in the mountains, drawing, painting, and had a passion for music. He cherished his dog, Kodiak, who brought joy into his life and was very proud of his self-taught computer skills. Ken especially loved to make dinner and dessert for his family.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:00-11:30 AM Saturday, December 2, 2017 followed by his Funeral Service 11:30 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 43 W. Lancaster Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335, 610-269-3080. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Chester County SPCA, 1212 Phoenixville Pike, West Chester, PA 19380.
