Kenneth A. Sullivan PhD, of Bryn Mawr, PA, passed away on March 30th after a long illness.
Kenneth was born on July 20,1947 to John Clinton and Anita Sullivan in New York City.
He graduated from Boston College where he studied English and ran x-country and track. He then went on to receive a PhD in Psychology from Temple University. After receiving his PhD, Ken worked for many years as a psychologist primarily at the VA Medical Center in Philadelphia. He worked as the Chief of Psychology at the VA and was a Professor of Psychology in the Psychiatry Department of the University of Pennsylvania Medical School.
In 1969 he met his wife Anna and they were married April 11, 1970. Ken and Anna went on to have three children, Lea, Kara and Luke and three grandchildren, Arianna, Calvin and Fiona.
Ken was predeceased by his parents, John Clinton and Anita, his brother, John, and his beloved daughter, Lea. He is survived by his wife, Anna, his two children, Kara and Luke, and his three grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family, on Friday April 14th, 2023, 9:30 - 10:30 AM, at St. John Neumann Parish, 380 Highland Lane, Bryn Mawr, PA, 19010, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment will be held in Massachusetts at a later date.
