Kevin P. Tobin

Kevin P. Tobin, age 83, of Bryn Mawr, PA, passed away on December 31, 2024. He comfortably lived his final weeks at home, cared for by family and friends and made comfortable by Compassus Hospice.

Born in Philadelphia, PA on June 7, 1941, he was the son of the late William J. and Alyse Tobin (nee Boyle). Kevin grew up in Havertown, attended Annunciation BVM, Monsignor Bonner High School and Villanova University.

Kevin’s professional life included time as a stockbroker at various Philadelphia based trading firms; a member of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard; custom homebuilder at his construction company, Tobin Construction; real estate agent; antiques collector/dealer; and the owner/operator of Pre-Demolition Sales.

Always one to have a good story, (albeit sometimes longer than you might have time for), Kevin enjoyed time spent with family, the Ocean City Boardwalk, ushering at Villanova basketball games, “Oldies” music, collecting antiques, volunteering at his children’s schools, and eating copious amounts of shrimp and Johnson’s popcorn.

Kevin was the beloved husband of Suzanne Tobin (nee Feihel) for 52 years; loving father of Christopher Tobin (Angela), Kelly Tobin, Ryan Tobin (Alison), and Michael Tobin (Davina); adoring grandfather (Pal) of Ellie, Quinn, Charlotte, Emma, Reese, Harper, Claire, Henry, Trevor, and Theo; caring brother of William Tobin (Rita) and the late Christine Fenstermacher and Eileen Hallissey.

Family and friends are invited to Kevin’s Visitation 6:00-8:00 PM on Monday, January 6, 2025 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 366 West Lancaster Ave, Wayne, PA 19087, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at St. Katharine of Siena Church, 104 S. Aberdeen Ave, Wayne, PA 19087. Interment Private.
