Kim Peckman, 55, of West Chester, PA (formerly of Philadelphia and Pottsville, PA), died peacefully at home on Monday, June 10, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer with her loving husband Todd Denton at her side.
Kim, daughter of the late Nathan and Theresa (Heffner) Peckman, was a teacher at Media Elementary School and is also survived by her brothers Marc H. of Jamison, PA, Michael (Josette) of Orwigsburg, PA and David (Christine) of Downingtown, PA; and her sister Molly of Lansdowne, PA.
She was a devoted aunt and is also survived by nieces Rachel, Aliyah, Kayla and Sabrina and by nephews Brandon, Joshua, Nathan, Griffin and Aden.
Kim was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania (B.A., psychology) and West Chester State University (M.A., Education).
The family will celebrate Kim's life at a private memorial service.
