Kristin Kelly McCarthy, age 44, died suddenly on July 17, 2014.
Born in Wilmington, DE, she grew up in Chadds Ford, PA and attended The Tatnall School in Wilmington, DE and graduated with a B.A. in History from Bates College in Lewiston, ME. She was a varsity goalie in field hockey and lacrosse for four years while at Bates College and coached at Boston College after graduation. She was employed as a benefits analyst by Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. law firms. At the time of her death she served as a legal assistant with Stevens and Lee of Wilmington, DE.
She is survived by her parents, Thomas and Carrol McCarthy, Twin sister Megan (Richard) King and brother Stephen (Kathleen) McCarthy. Super aunt to RJ, Thomas and Elizabeth King and Colin and Caroline McCarthy.
She was a founding member of the McCarthy girls with sister Megan and cousin Laura Martha. She was known for her delicious stir frys, encyclopedic knowledge of movies and an most infectious laugh.
