Larry T. Walls, 79, of Coatesville, PA, formerly of Cyclone, WV, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2024.
Born June 16, 1945, in Man, WV, he was the son of the late Frank and Audrey (Cook) Walls.
Larry was a proud graduate of Oceana High School and went on to work for Eastern Coal and later Peabody Coal, where he served as a skilled welder and heavy equipment operator. Known for his strong work ethic and dedication, he forged many friendships throughout his career.
Larry enjoyed a life filled with simple pleasures and a deep connection to nature. He loved fishing, hunting, and beekeeping, finding joy and purpose in each of these passions. He shared a special bond with his son, Michael, collecting guns and baseball cards, hobbies that created treasured memories. An avid gardener and bird enthusiast, Larry also had a keen eye for photography, capturing the beauty of the world around him. He cherished the time spent traveling between his home in West Virginia and his camper in Pennsylvania, where he made countless memories with his grandchildren.
Larry will be remembered as a devoted family man, whose love and quiet strength shaped the lives of those closest to him. He was the beloved husband of Wanda (England) Walls; the loving father of Michael J. Walls (Sarah); and the adoring grandfather of Sam, Audrey, and Lila. Larry was also a dear brother to Doris, Marvin, Joy, Glen and Chelsea, and was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Audrey, as well as his brothers Chelsea and Marvin, and his sister Doris.
In honor of Larry's wishes, services will be private. The family requests that those who knew and loved Larry remember him through moments spent in nature, a place he held so close to his heart.
