Lawrence Fite, Sr.

Lawrence A. Fite, Sr., age 90, of Phoenixville, PA, formerly of Broomall, PA, passed away on November 29, 2017. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was son of the late Eugene A. and Loretto Fite (nee Costella).
Larry served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a 70 year member of IBEW Local Union 98. Larry enjoyed ping pong, horse shoes, playing cards and camping with his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years Mildred T. Fite (nee Trout), and his loving children Lawrence Jr. (Carrie), Theresa, Bernard (MaryJo), Michael (Jacqueline), Catherine Tobin (the late William), Timothy (Theresa) and Christopher (Joanne) Fite. He is also survived by his 20 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his 11 siblings.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Saturday, December 9, 2017 10:00-11:00 AM St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA and to his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
