Lawrence Moran

Lawrence W. Moran, age 97, of Berwyn, PA, formerly of West Chester, PA and Melbourne, FL, passed away peacefully at home on January 28, 2015. Born in Wilmington, DE, he was the son of the late John Joseph and Catherine C. Moran (nee Glenn). He was the owner of Lawrence W. Moran, Inc., an air conditioning and refrigeration company. Lawrence served in the United States Army during World War II.



Lawrence studied Mechanical Engineering at Temple University and then continued educating himself into his 90's at various trade schools and also at Brevard Community College.



He is survived by his wife Ursula Jane Moran (nee Ward), his children Catherine M. Moran (Tyrone Pernsley) and Lois A. Mastrangelo (James Mattia), his 5 grandchildren Keith, Sean, Tyrone L., Melissa and Brianna, 6 great-grandchildren Derek, Alexis, Anthony, Jace, Tylah and Harley, and nieces and nephews in the Cleary, Moran and Brodish Families. We loved you so, our Irish tenor, who could fix anything. 'Twas heaven here with you.



Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Saturday, February 7, 2015 1:00-2:00 PM St. Monica Church, 635 First Avenue, Berwyn, PA followed by his Memorial Mass at 2:00 PM. Interment is private.
