Lawrence Pilot, Jr.

January 3, 1924 — March 1, 2014

Lawrence E. Pilot,Jr. age 90, of Ocean City, NJ, passed away on March 1, 2014. Beloved brother of T. Ronald Pilot. Also survived by his many nieces and nephews and his dear friend Marilouise Berdow.



He served as a Seabee (US Naval Construction Force) in Okinawa in World War II. He will be greatly missed.



PC Larry was a long-time member of Ocean City Yacht Club, joining the club in 1947. He was an avid sailor and motor boater. He became a board member in the early 1950's and commodore in 1966. He was the longest continuous member of the Ocean City Yacht Club and its board of governors in recent memory. Always at our board meetings and a very active member, Larry kept us on the straight and narrow at all times. In addition, he was always willing to help with any project.



Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Saturday, March 8, 2014 9:00-10:30 AM St. Bernadette Church, 1035 Turner Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.



In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to the Glen Mills School Scholarship Fund, 185 Glen Mills Road, Glen Mills, PA 19342 would be appreciated.
