Leo J. Milligan, Sr.

Leo J. Milligan, Sr., age 83, of Broomall, PA, passed away on April 27, 2022.  Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Eleanor Milligan (nee Jackson).

Leo was a proud 1956 graduate of West Catholic Boys High School in Philadelphia.  He had been employed as a Logistics Manager for Boeing for 38 years.  He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served two tours in Vietnam for 14 months, while working at Boeing. 

Leo loved traveling with his wife and family, and saw much of the world, both while working at Boeing and after his retirement.  He was a devoted fan of all Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Villanova Wildcats.  

Leo is survived by his beloved wife, Caroline H. Milligan (nee McCabe) and his loving children Caroline Dolan (Tom), Leo J. Milligan, Jr. (Alicia) and Linda Cooper (Chris).  Dear grandfather of Shane (Alyssa), Brian (Melanie), Casey, Christopher, Patrick, Carly, Leo, III, and Rogan. Step-grandfather of Chelsey and Jaclyn (Eli) and step-great-grandfather of Lucas and Ellie.  Also survived by his loving in-laws, nieces and nephews.   He was predeceased by his brothers Robert Milligan and Daniel Milligan.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family on Monday, May 2, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (Cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to his Funeral Mass on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Denis Church, 2401 St. Denis Lane, Havertown, PA.   Interment will be private.
