October 26, 1929 — July 24, 2022

Newtown Square

October 26, 1929 — July 24, 2022

Leon “Shots” Kazanjian Jr.,  92 years, of Newtown Square, PA, went to his Heavenly Home to be with the Lord Jesus on July 24, 2022.

He was the son of the late Leon, Sr., and Siran (née Suny) Kazanjian.

Shots was the beloved husband of the late Peggy Lou (née) Mowery.

He leaves behind daughters; Donna DiGregorio (Ron) and Lisa Bagin (Chuck); loving grandfather of David DiGregorio (Ann), Rachel Dell’Arciprete (T.J.), and Matthew J. Bagin. Shots was a great-grandfather to Gabriel DiGregorio and Joshua, Ava, and Andrew Dell’Arciprete.

He was predeceased by his son-in-law, Chuck Bagin, and his grandson, Matthew J. Bagin.

Leon started his young years in Real Estate with his father at Times Realty Company in Upper Darby, PA.  He then went into Building custom homes on the Main Line and Chester County, PA. Kazanjian Builders, Inc built the developments in Ithan Mill, Cornerstone, Sturbridge, Trianon, and Dovecote.

He loved playing Basketball and was given the name Shots for the many baskets he made. He was also an avid Soccer player in his youth.

Leon was a selfless man who always put his family first and was always willing to help anyone in need. He was also given the name Road Runner as in the Cartoon because of his speediness in his walk of life. He was a Godly man who accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1982 and The Bible was what he read daily. He knew every book of The Bible and every verse and shared Jesus with anyone who wanted to hear about Him. 2 Timothy 4:7-8 sums up his life; “I HAVE FOUGHT A GOOD FIGHT, I HAVE FINISHED MY COURSE, I HAVE KEPT THE FAITH: HENCEFORTH THERE IS LAID UP FOR ME A CROWN OF RIGHTEOUS, WHICH THE LORD, THE RIGHTEOUS JUDGE, SHALL GIVE ME AT THAT DAY: AND NOT TO ME ONLY, BUT UNTO ALL THEM ALSO THAT LOVE HIS APPEARING.”

He will be greatly missed by his family who loved him dearly.
