Leona Powderly

Leona J. "Lee" Powderly (nee Castagna), age 66, of East Lansdowne, PA, passed away on June 10, 2014. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Castagna (nee Ferber). Lee was employed for 42 years with Acme Markets.



Lee was predeceased by her husband Joseph F. Powderly, Jr. and her brother Augie Castagna. She is survived by her children Donna Reeves (the late James), Joseph F. Powderly, III (Kathy), James Powderly, Pam Sheffer (Al), Michelle Castagna (Howard), Angela Powderly, Kim Powderly and Michael Powderly, 21 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, her siblings Thomas Castagna, Marianne Gorman, Howard Castagna, Anthony Castagna and Joseph Castagna and many nieces and nephews.



Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Monday, June 16, 2014 7:00-9:00 PM and Tuesday, June 17, 2014 8:30-9:30 AM The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM St. Cyril of Alexandria Church, 153 Penn Blvd., East Lansdowne, PA. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
