Leonard L. D'Andrea, age 89, of Wayne, PA, passed away on September 26, 2015. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Lelio J. and Amelia D'Andrea (nee Sylvester).
Leonard served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was employed as an Aerospace Engineer with General Electric for 45 years. He retired in 1989.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Anna Marie D'Andrea (nee Gress), his loving children Annette Kingkiner (Mark), Lisa D'Andrea, Celeste Wey, Renee D'Andrea, Marilyn D'Andrea-Spica (Donald), Gloria D'Andrea and James D'Andrea (Courtney), his 11 grandchildren and his sister Irma Lauble. He was predeceased by his sisters Marie McInerney and Evelyn Biebel.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Thursday, October 1, 2015 8:45 AM-9:50 AM St. Isaac Jogues Church, 50 W. Walker Road, Wayne, PA and to his Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment Washington Memorial Chapel Cemetery at Valley Forge National Park.
