Leonard D. Dadamo "Pop", 81 of West Chester, PA and formerly of Collingdale passed away on September 29, 2014.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, Leonard was the son of James D'Adamo and Millie (D'Orazio) D'Adamo, both deceased.
He was a 1951 graduate of John Bartram High School in Philadelphia, PA.
Leonard served honorably in the US Army during the Korean War and worked as a machinist for GE Switch Gear in Philadelphia, PA.
He was the President of the Collingdale Athletic Club in 1981 and a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society BVM Darby.
Leonard was the beloved husband of Jean (Davis) Dadamo; loving father of Bill Vink (Dana) of West Chester, Valerie Munns of Clifton Heights, Peter Vink (Susan) of Downingtown and Daniel Vink (Colleen) of Newark, DE; loving Pop-Pop of Paul Iezzi, Moe Munns, Erin, Billy, Jr., Jack, Paul and Mary Kate Vink, Sarah, Peter, Andy, Sam, James, Daniel & Michael Vink, Maggie Gehert, Matthew Prosser, McKenna Vink and Danny Vink; dear brother of Dolores Del Raso (the late Vincent), Donato D'Adamo (Sandy) and the late Joseph D'Adamo (Anna Mae).
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 9:00-10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2014 and to his Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. at St. Maximilian Kolbe, 15 E. Pleasant Grove Road, West Chester, PA 19380. Interment will be at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society, 901 Luzerne Street, Philadelphia, PA 19124.
