Leonetta E. Smith

Leonetta E. Smith (née Layton), also known as "Lee" , age 78, of Chester, PA, passed away on January 7, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Lucille Layton. Leonetta enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She relished any opportunity to watch them and create memories with them. Leonetta was a devout Catholic and a longtime member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Chester, PA.

Leonetta was the beloved wife of Rodney Smith; loving mother of Joseph Layton (Devin) and Kalitta Layton (Milo); adoring grandmother of Nazja Long (Desmond), Mynazja Layton, Joseph Layton Jr., Savannah Layton, Noah Layton, and the late Nyeme Amir Layton; caring great-grandmother of Rah'Mir Hill Jr., Ra'Zhae Layton, Serenity Mae Long, and Nevaeh Ariella Long; devoted sister of Francine Layton. She is also survived by her nephew, Andre Layton. Leonetta was predeceased by her nephew, Damion Layton (Maria).

Family and friends are invited to Leonetta's Visitation from 9:30-11:00 AM on Monday, January 20, 2025, at The Knoetgen-Donohue Funeral Home, 746 Kedron Ave, Morton, PA 19070. Memorial Service and Interment will be held privately for immediate family.
